SROC National Hampsfell (SB, 6.2K, 275M): another scrappy run with too many errors and hesitations. Physically was even tougher than yesterday and never really got into any smooth running. Still it was lovely in the woods (apart from the usual rocky carpet).

Note

So what have the last two days taught me?

1. I'm fairly unfit currently and carrying about 8kg too much weight
2. I'm struggling to run in terrain in particular (lack of training there)
3. Navigation is too imprecise partly because of (lack of) practice but also
4. Because I need to get glasses or a magnifier to read the map better

I think I will miss the JK individuals so we can visit the Lakes again and I'll be able to put in 3-4 quality sessions there. I will do the Relays on the Monday. I need to run daily (or at least something that elevates the HR higher than walking).
