WAOC event at Ampthill - Blue course. Nice event to get back into things. Pretty open and some nice woodlandy bits to enjoy too. Went okay - lost about 45 secs on 11 and 12 in the woods - confused by added paths and vegetation. Hammy tightening towards the end and generally struggled on the climbs too, especially in the second half where I dropped from 2nd to 4th.

Felt jaded and irritable - tired from training! Home at decent time and slept on sofa with Cocoa after her first day at WVC.

In new shorts which were ace and felt strong and good: 5.50, 6.07, 6.11, 6.08 for each 250m.

Gym circuit ahead of HIIT - which given the intensity of it (ITT!) was a little unnecessary.

HIIT class - warm up was tough enough and then the 20 mins of intervals was rising reps of burpees and kettle swings. Hideous!!

Knackered from gym sessions to did relaxed and relatively easy 500 metres as cool down - perfect.
