Running race 50:30 [5] 9.3 km (5:26 / km) +200m 4:54 / km
shoes: Orange Inov8

Cross country at Langdale - white rose area!
Was so tough. A really muddy course with a massive hill half way round, i am definately not strong enough because i didn't do as well as i thought i would. I fell in the river!!! haha, i actually went right in face first when we were crossing it, was really fast flowing, so funny! Did the best on the off path sections and the down hill part near the end where everyone was being cautious but i just cained it and made some time back up. Did worst on the hill, as usual, and got overtaken :(

Was about half way and 5th woman. Such good training though because i push way harder than i normally do. Going to run some more of the races i think. Apparently i need to be mentally tougher.

Running warm up/down 25:00 [2]

Jogged, stretched and did drills to keep warm. brrr....

Orienteering 1:30:00 [3]

YHOA squad training at Normanby Hall - disgusting area!!

Went out and hung some of the controls but the map was pretty rubbish and it was really hard, especially looking for the right root stock amongst lots of rootstocks.

Did a focus course where once you got to the control circle there were 2 controls within it, so you had to read your descriptions to find the right one, was good.
Then did a sprint course but i somehow managed a rubbish time so i must've been going quite slowly, although i did mess up number 2 which was on a knoll in some scattered trees and quite hard to see, should've used compass.

Was too cold to collect controls in - sorry Tim!!!

Orienteering race 40:00 [4] *** 5.3 km (7:33 / km) +30m 7:20 / km
spiked:12/16c

was obviously further than this cos i didn't go straight line route.

Somehow managed an amazing run to win the long?? was just one of those races where everything seems to come together. Only had one mistake at No.12 and a few hesitations but lost around 2mins in all i think. Was just running better than i have done recently, felt really strong :)

yay yay yay!!!

Stretching 1:05:00 [4]

Had a new instructor this week and i'm sure he's in the army or something. He was so scary!!

I have never worked so hard in a circuits lesson in my life!!! Did so much work i couldn't breathe for most of it.

Press ups, skipping, boxing, bike sprints/hills, step, weights, shuttle runs with press ups, russian twists & all dynamic ones like burpees and squats etc. Exhausted!!

Running warm up/down 30:00 [2]
shoes: Old trainers

Jogged to playing fields, and did some drills before (about 20mins)
Stretched afterwards but i was freezing so didn't put in much effort

Running 17:00 [5]

whooo! i love to sprint :)
Did 1 min run, 1 min rest, 2 min run, 1 min rest, 3 min run, 1 min rest, 3 min run, 1 min rest, 2 min run, 1 min rest, 1 min run.
Made it back to the corner of the football pitch on all the loops except the second lot of 3 when i was about 7seconds off.

Tried to visualise being in an actual race, like everytime i started a run i imagined being on the start line and focusing.

Was fun but really cold!!

Running 54:00 [3] 10.0 km (5:24 / km)
(injured) shoes: Old trainers

Finally!!! I have missed running so much. 8 whole days off!! :0

I felt so flabby running round. I can tell i havn't been doing anything. Didn't push or anything because i don't want to risk the foot when it's not perfect. Was really icy as well so i couldn't go fast.

S&C 1:00:00 [2]

I know it's really bad that i did nothing last week when i could have gone swimming or done some weights but i was just exhausted and i couldn't be bothered.
I shouldn't think like that i know, i just need some motivation to get back on track.

Had a cold last week too, but i think it is good that it came at the same time as my foot injury otherwise that would have been another few days off.

Printed the maps off for Italy JWOC areas, so i can try geeking and remotivating myself.
