Orienteering warm up/down 35:00 [2]

Jogged to start, 15 mins of drills/strides etc. & jog/stretch after

Orienteering race 1:09:00 [4] 9.7 km (7:07 / km) +260m 6:16 / km
shoes: Yellow Inov8

A few hesitations & little errors but mostly not a bad run. A bit low down the slope at one point near the end when i was tired & not concentrating as well. Largely happy & 2nd w20 (3rd with 18's as well) so did better than expected. Room for a good improvement, better than the last time I frequented this area though!

Jogged to cse to pick up maps & to start of time trail & once round course beforehand.

Running tempo 17:42 [4] 2.8 km (6:19 / km) +160m 4:55 / km

Terrain time trial - Loop with 6 control points to visit, done twice, around whinny hill. Lots of varied stuff.
Looking at splits - the 2nd loop was a lot slower (almost 50sec) which is quite bad & where I dropped most time.
Think I could have pushed harder & will be good to have a time to aim towards beating next go.

3 sets of 3x500m with 30sec rests between reps & 3mins between sets.
Tough & very fast.
