Orienteering race 40:37 [4] 7.4 km (5:29 / km) +170m 4:55 / km
(injured)

City race - was pretty straight forward & i was just too slow. Lost a bit on the uphill long leg, in the houses & just after the road crossing. Quite pleased with all my routechoices though.
Shins have fully died now, possibly no more running until the oringen to ensure I can actually complete it. Can barely walk, it is bad :(

Orienteering race 4:38 [5] 0.65 km (7:08 / km) +25m 5:59 / km

Qualifier 1 - Totally not with the tiny scale & lost 25secs on the first woodland control (massively overshot). Fine afterwards, planned ahead & had good flow.

Orienteering race 4:32 [5] 0.7 km (6:29 / km) +30m 5:20 / km

Qualifier 2 - Much easier 2nd time into the woods.

Orienteering race 15:00 [5] 1.7 km (8:49 / km) +95m 6:54 / km

Final - Pretty fun in the mass start. Started too fast & couldn't sustain pace up the hill near the end (not quite the 10min winning time advertised!)
Mega confusing with reading which control to go to next, had quite a few wobbles costing rather a lot of seconds each time.
Would have been awesome if the maze had been allowed, but hats off to the SYO team for planning such good courses last minute with the wash out.
Won a swanky new Arc'Teryx base layer (not bad for a £1 day out :D).

Testing shin out, still pretty bad but I soooo want to run this weekends races. I hate my failure of a body!
