Gap Creek Saturday Social Ride

Just a cruisey day at Gap Creek riding some awesome illegal trails with jumps and stuff, pretty rough and fun. Just did high intensity on the single trails and rested well for the group and repeated. I use it as sort of a interval session.

Note

Dropping my bike off at the bike shop to get the forks fixed on my Scott Scale 20. It should of been fixed a month ago but due to the manufactures stuffing up the order and losing the order didn't help. I also going to get a test to check if my iron levels are ok to see what is happening with my body. Got to tune the machine.

Mt.Neebo (Back Route via Samford Village up Mt.Glorious)

Got up at 4:30am to make some sandwiches for my ride because I noticed that I am getting tired legs in the 3hr+ long rides. I just made what a mate suggested which was butter and jam on white bread. It went down a treat while cycling out around Samford, Mt Glorious.

I had planned to meet up with a friend of mine to cycle up Mt.Glorious but our meeting place wasn't as well known to me then it was to him but as luck would have it I was stopped by some construction lights at the base of Mt.Glorious and my mate pops up behind me and we continue to ride to the steep climb up Mt.Glorious.

Mt.Glorious has a nice steep climb to the top which is roughly a 1.6km climb to the top but starting at 17% and hitting close to 24% in the middle makes it a pretty solid and hard climb.

My legs surprisingly didn't feel to bad cycling up it, but before and after that hill I didn't feel like my self. The legs haven't been turning over as well as they use to in the past month but they felt ok in the Victorian Championships last weekend in Castlemaine.
