Roller skiing 1:15:00 [3] 11.5 km (6:31 / km) +100m 6:15 / km

Huntly. Coaching at kids club on the mats. Tried to join in a fair bit to stay warm! Then 10km classic style roller ski on my own afterwards. Going ok and a good start to build from.

Guiding for RTH. Balmoral 15 miler. Lovely day, but v chilly and never took off windproof, hat or gloves. Just 2 guests and a nice steady pace but nothing too taxing. A bit worried about my foot which started niggling on the tarmac after about 1km, but it held up ok.

Jog up to the start of the Fungle climb, then 2 x reps up to the seat with poles, jog back between, followed by 10 x elghuf reps on the lower section.

To start at Shooting Greens and back up from finish

Orienteering race 1:06:00 [3] 5.5 km (12:00 / km) +200m 10:09 / km

DNC #3 at Shooting Greens. Pretty happy with this tonight. Compass was working well and plodded round steadily with only a couple of small mistakes in the circle at nos 3 and 10. Also missed the track option to the finish which cost about 1.5'

Running warm up/down 45:00 [2] 5.0 km (9:00 / km) +90m 8:15 / km

From the cottage to the foot of the big forestry track and the start of the red bike route climb. Then an extended jog back via lower sections of the bike trails.

Running hills 20:00 [4] 2.5 km (8:00 / km) +120m 6:27 / km

10x1'+1' up the big forest road. Too tired to push 100%, but gave it what there was.

Docharn long legs. Hanging tapes at 3, 5, 6 and 7. Enjoying myself so carried on to 8 and 9. Snow on the ground but forest still gorgeous and map still good. Legs didn’t feel too bad. Cold feet again.
