On the bike trails at Aonach Mhor with various kids / adults on bikes and KH and ME on foot. All pretty low effort - hoping to get a bit of recovery from today.
Slept way better in the van last night.

Beinn a Chaorainn with E on the way over to Fort Bill. Cloud swirling around the tops and quite windy but stayed dry at least. Legs feeling well stuffed so no temptation to carry on round to the next top. Feet a bit sore on the rocky bits - time for some new shoes I think. Out for 2:45 or so.

Good w-u before race. Short jog back after.

Knockagerty night race. Feeling better than expected after the last couple of days. Not too hilly which was probably as well as I could certainly feel my quads struggling on the smallest of climbs. Just behind RC at the top but he got well away on the return. 3rd F behind SP with ME not too far in front. Pretty happy with that. Cracking night and a nice wee route.

Walk up Glen Quoich and onto Beinn a Bhuird. J and E decided to turn back before the plateau but it was a nice afternoon and seemed a shame not to summit, so continued on my own. Late starting and quite dark by the end but managed without getting the torches out. 5h total.

Banchory fun run. Doesn’t get any easier. Happy enough with the effort though. Lungs got a good workout.
Time only 10” slower than 2012/13 when it seems I last ran it. I’ll take that.
