With SR from Pannanich east end - Cairn Vallich, the Pan, Heartbreak ridge and back along the path from Torphantrick. Feeling tired and slow (no real surprise) but S was happy for once to buddy at my pace. Foot pretty good (slight numbing in toes). Lovely company and pleased to be running something of this length again so soon.

SD rd to Ballater then back by Tarland and Queens View. 10’ social gathering outside the Henry’s in Aboyne and Shorties open again for a proper ice cream treat in Ballater :-) Obligatory stop at LD for 5’ chill time too. Felt like quite hard work otherwise!

Peter Hill a-c with Bob and J. Another decent run out and feeling ok on the climb. Descent was ok too, despite being on the big track. Chilly morning and fresh wind on top, but stayed mostly dry.

Kerloch with Encarna. Managed to run more or less all of the climb, albeit with a couple of rests part way. Back down across the bog then edge of plantation. Lovely catch-up, it stayed dry, and my foot really didn't complain at all!

Shooting Greens and Gouach mostly single track. Foot holding up ok and almost felt like I was running normally at times. Slight right hamstring discomfort but nothing major. Happy with that , especially 2 days in a row.

Redburn loop - out north on the high track from Raebush road junction and back parallel with road. Picked up a bit of lovely track new to me in the middle section. Hot and muggy. Running still feeling way too hard, but overall this was the best run in a while. Heel ~2/10 and didn't get any numbness in the sole.
