Running 58:00 [3] 8.08 km (7:11 / km) +264m 6:10 / km

Lamahip loop from Glencat. Leisurely recovery run. Felt better for getting the legs moving. So humid though - dripping with sweat by the end. Went for a wee dip at Potties after, with SWs encouragement, but it was darn chilly - one extreme to the other!
Hit my 3,000m climb target for the week - pleased with that.

Big circular over Morven from Cambus taking in another 7 tops, starting with Crannach and finishing on Culblean. With JS. Lots of heather bashing early on, but finally ran out of puff in the sapping reindeer moss, heading from Mona Gowan along to Morven. Cut a couple of tops from my original plan, but even without them this was a beast. Haven’t felt so completely stuffed in a long time as I do now.... maybe Garmin’s 4 day recovery time isn’t so crazy!
Great outing with good company though :-)

Chill lap of LK finishing off with a wee dip. Looked a bit greasy at the edge and spotted later that a note about blue-green algae on the loch! Thankfully I didn’t drink too much of it. Legs felt pretty good after the last couple of days.

Kerloch loop with EMat from Knockburn. Legs feeling pretty good for Wed post hill reps. Nice easy pace at start then did the climb in 3 shifts with a min or two between each to let E catch. Pushed final climb to the top. Track is even more washed out than it was in June. Good chat and a nice day.

Gorgeous day. Bonus trot from Aboyne round the golf course / loch and back. Hopefully help loosen me up for evening intervals.

9 x 2’+ 1’ hills at GT up Canada Rd. Hot and humid which made it feel rubbish, but probably going ok. Didn’t have my usual group around to compare myself with. Definitely didn’t feel as bad after as last week although av HR was higher.

Running warm up/down 35:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:50 / km)

Out to bottom of Canada Rd then back down from top of the hill after reps. Nice dip in river after :-)

Home - Queen's View via Auchenhove loop - Aboyne - Balfour back road - Potties and home. Super chill at start but unintentionally turned into a pacey effort by the end!
