Schiehallion with J and E. Set off walking, but turns out that E’s power walk is now faster than a Mum walk and I soon found myself trotting bits to try and keep up. After a while J sent us on to the top and the pace upped a bit more, but breathing didn’t feel great and didn’t get HR up much at all. Stopped to take some ptarmigan pics and felt better once we got going again. Promised sun never came through; just light snow showers instead! Feeling a bit chill after sitting around at the top, but soon warmed up on the run back down - no attempt to stay with E there!

Family hill day up Beinn Dubhchraig and Ben Oss. Mostly dry overhead but wet enough under foot. Cloud coming and going from the tops and some atmospheric views down to Loch Lomond etc at times. Taking it chill and not pushing the pace at all. Out for 5 1/4 total.

Legs feeling quite heavy from yesterday, so just a slow plod. Dreich.

Morven VR. Gave it what I had. Hoped I might be a few mins quicker than this, but it's a good few years since I ran the race! At least I did set some strava PRs. Misty on the top plateau and managed to drift off line coming off the top initially - it doesn't matter how many times you've been up there, it's still so easy to do. Not sure how much faster I would go with company? Calfs are screaming at me now!
