Over to Muir of Fowlis to meet RB then loop round to Booties and back by Tarland, Queens View. Really chilly to start with but soon warmed up. Relaxed ride and good chat - needed that today.

Really chill run / walk from Linn of Quoich up onto Carn na Drochaide then along to Carn na Criche and back down to the punch bowl. Slow jog along the bottom before walking up the hill. Took big camera and had lots of photo stops. Beautiful day and good relaxation therapy :-) Iced legs in the river at the end.

Lamahip and Glencat loop with JS. Tried a cross-country line from near Auchaballa to pick up the northern path onto Lamahip. Might have been okish in daylight but got in a right mess with dead bracken in the dark. From Lamahip headed west on the big tracks then returned down the glen road. Another fab evening with loads of stars and a nice orange moon rising. Feeling pretty wiped out, mentally especially, but good to get out.

DNC H&M headless chicken shambles. Didn’t get into map scale and found the sprint spec colours really difficult to read - several legs in before I realised that I wasn’t seeing loads of the tracks. Neither head nor heart in it. Shame as it could have been good.

DR @ GT. 16x1’+1’ round 2 bridges. Felt much better running tonight than I have for 10 days or so, but still solidly bringing up the rear of the group! Probably what I need to try and get the legs moving a bit quicker again, but not getting the HR up as high as on some other sessions. Beautiful cold starry moonlit night :-)
