Warm up for a QO event at Cothelstone Hill.

Ghastly area - lots of mud and bramble....the only bit which was nice was actual Cothelstone Hill itself, and the course only had three controls up there. The event wasn't helped by controls 1 and 5 being a country mile from where they should have been - to the extent that I only found number five, which was on a wall in some open land, by fluke when I stumbled across it on my way out to carry on having concluded the control wasn't there. The control was clearly in an area of woodland, with no wall in sight!!! :o

And no one knows where number one was!!....Again, I found it by fluke on my way out to carry on.....it was meant to be on a depression, but was clearly on a knoll, and was much too close to number 2!! :o

Wandered into number 15 by fluke. No one knows wtf the map was on about there!

A good, fast hash from Blackborough, laid by PDQ. Felt pretty good running, and strong on the hills.

The final running club Monday run of the year. From Otterton this week. We went up the river for a bit, before heading out to Sea View Farm and down to Ladram. Looped around a bit getting back from there. Nice run, and just beat the dark!
