Fucked up taping up my shin badly somehow so wasn't pain free.

Went for a shortish one just keeping it comfortable, until I noticed some guy had joined just behind and was trying to race me, turned the corner and dropped a fast 400m, that was the end of that, small W for myself

Run up to forge dam, first run over 10km in about 3-4 weeks, kept it as flat as possible though and running on the grass and mud as much as possible through endcliffe park etc

Started to feel a bit fatigued towards the end back over the hill home I must admit definitely lost a fair amount of cardio ability but legs were moving better than I thought they would

Little concerning I was a minute down on my 5km PB on the way back, probably need to do some running races this winter
