Having to get a couple of hours earlier today made the insomnia I thought I'd beaten came back with a vengeance. Got exactly zero mins sleep. James being away prob didn't help, though at least it meant I didn't wake him up.

Got up, showered, pretending I'd slept shoved on nice dress and make up and went out. Client said I looked fabulous so fooled them - amazing the effect of red lippy and heels.

Long day where I barely had time to think and intentions to leave at 4 after last meeting went out the window.

Been a beautiful sunny day all day but started raining a few mins after I left home (without a jacket).

Very short sedate session of k jog, 10*200m with 30 recovery then a run of about a k. Managed to work out how to program my watch too. Probably etter than just staying on the couch. Properly crashing and burning now.

Felt crappy out there, and too warm. Dressed for the cold windy horrible day but was actually 16 degrees by the time I went out.

Thought I'd messed up going accidentally maverick at the start but seem to have got pretty much minimum distance for everything. On the shorter side tonight so didn't end up having to think about the time.

Ok run again. Bit nervous going into 2, and actually saw 3 and bounced off it (which didn't end up being that slow). Went up to the road for 4, and round for 5 - ended up taking exactly the same time as Jenny Bourne who went straight. Biggest mistake was again a bit of dithering around the quarry again. DIdn't got down this time but still dithered and started goign that way for a few secs before turning back and then taking the longer path not concetrating.

Few mins down on Clare again but reasonably respectable.
