With Clare while James went riding. I struggled for the first couple of k - hot and uphill but then felt better. Got up to the top in about an hour and a half (fair bit quicker than James mtb buddies could ride up (1h40) - according to strava they were actually slower than I rode it 4 years ago (1h20), and much slower than James and I ran it last year (1h10)).

Lovely at the top, going down was all fine, until it turned out the loop was 3k longer than advertised and involved going down then back up then down again, was runnign out of energy quite a lot.

Hike out from our campground with Clare and James. I am not good at going uphills at the moment, struggling with iron - baby seems to use it up as quickly as I can take it.

Nice wandering around.

The company at our campsite had 4 flags - 2 aussie, 1 jim beam and 1 truck one. The also didn't go to sleep til 4am and I swear one of them was roaring like a dinosaur. Australian countryside isn't always peaceful.
