Orienteering ( Banksia Park O) 54:46 [3] 7.18 km (7:37 / km) +19m 7:32 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

Banksia Park Long Hard from the race we missed a month or so ago. Was really well set with not much path running, for a area with lots of paths. Was pretty flooded in some places leading to me having to go over the out of bounds road (gave myself timed out crossing), going very wide and getting pretty wet. Long grass made some straight routes slower than going round might have been. Fun to do though and Stanley enjoyed the playground and James did the shopping.

Mountain Biking (Yarra) 1:47:40 [3] 30.57 km (3:31 / km) +294m 3:22 / km

Ended up being quite a long way. Had planned to run but hip was bit sore yesterday. Wals weirdly foggy so headed out on bike. Planned to go pick something up from Richmond but didn’t hear from the people so headed out to eaglemont, yarra very high. Obviously I then heard from them at the furthest point so rode around the boulie to Richmond, except hadn’t really looked at address and was near Burnley station. When the sun came out it was really nice out.

Running (Darebin Efforts) 31:45 [3] 5.28 km (6:01 / km) +8m 5:58 / km

1k jog, 10*200m, 1k jog. Was pretty dark by the time we finally got out. Jogged to park with James (and Stanley) and then left them for Stanley to have some crawl on grass time. Not sure he was that enthused, was a lot happier at home playing with me.

Having said I don’t mind it a bit wet today was over the limit for keeping me home, the only chance I’d have had was pouring.

Got cross at another driver today. Was trying to pull out of a car spot on high st, which was busy so bit of a wait, car instead of letting me out pulls in front of me and reverses so barely any space for me to move. He coulda just made life easy for the both of us.

Running (Yarra Bend Park) 44:30 [3] 7.34 km (6:04 / km) +52m 5:51 / km
shoes: La Sportiva Akasha

Felt a bit cheeky doing this but my course had lunch break at 3pm (it’s Singapore time) and Stanley is at daycare so thought I’d take the chance to go out. Didn’t feel as bad as Sunday but still sluggish.

Lovely out, nice chill in the air and a bit of mud - nearly smelt like English woodland.
