orienteering (stumble) 1:59:26 [4] 15.0 km (7:58 / km)

SVO: Susquehanna Stumble. Great Falls MD. 12:15pm Training must be paying off, able to keep up reasonable speed in very open woods the whole way. Pace of leaders still beyond my abilities. Finished 9th, splits are posted. Some level 5 effort early but mostly level 4. Felt ok sunday but lousy on monday.

orienteering (pickup) 48:11 [2] 4.4 km (10:57 / km)

4pm. Pick up some controls (9-14) after the stumble. Tired now.

Note

Thought about getting on the fluid trainer to watch Maryland beat Kansas but decided it was easier just sitting on the couch.

run (trail) 1:03:22 [3] 8.1 mi (7:49 / mi)

Lake Accotink. 1:30 pm. Bit tired from yesterday and late nights at work..

Square dancing (plus) 15:00 [1]

At Bachelor and Bachelorettes. 7:30-9:30pm. My normal posse of partners were not there so I sat out two tips.

Wednesday Mar 27, 2002 #

track (warmup/down) 17:32 [2] 2.28 km (7:41 / km)

Warmup 500m 3:03, cooldown 1780m 14:29.
Got there a little late so no time for a proper warmup. Needed it today since the temp was dropping and in mid 40s.

track (ladder) 35:29 [4] 7.59 km (4:41 / km)

DCRRC Wed workout, Washington and Lee HS. Workout was for 1600,1200,800,600,400,300,200 all at 8k pace (88 per 400) Rest was 1/2 distance just ran except for 1600m and 300m with 600m and 200m rest.
School out for holiday so track lights were off. Could not read watch so no idea of times until after everything was done.
6:05.2 (350) 4:18.9 (425) 2:49.1 (308) 2:06.8 (223) 1:20.9 (139) 59.3 (144) 40.0
Without proper warmup first 1600 was hard and slow. Remainder were all to fast. Rest was a little more than usual since I stayed with a group and they tend to jog slowly

Square dancing (mainstream) 15:00 [1]

At Boomerangs. 8:30-9:30pm. Another class graduates.

Note

Each time I got ready to run it started to rain again so I put it off. Never made it out.

Sunday Mar 24, 2002 #

run (road/trail) 9:02 [2] 1.5 km (6:01 / km)

Warmup before orienteering.

orienteering (red) 1:39:03 [4] 6.33 km (15:39 / km)

BOK: Raven Rock day 2, red course. One huge parallel error ruined what could have been a good run. Lost 26:30 on one leg.
Splits are posted.
