DCRRC Wed track workout. Washington & Lee HS. No Boomerangs square dancing so I could go to the track workout. 7pm. Lights were off so running in the dark and could not check splits until workout was over. 4 x 1600m at tempo pace with 200m jog. School was closed so no bathrooms open which became a factor in the last two repeats. Felt good otherwise. 6:39.0, (1:33), 6:26.8, (1:43), 6:52,2, (1:47), 7:07.5, (1:41)
According to my recent 10mi times, I was running to fast but I suppose a tempo pace based on races I was not in shape for is invalid anyway. Except for the internal distress, I was running comfortably.
