other (disc golf) 30:00 [1] 1.0 mi (30:00 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Grid Shadow

After a lot of shopping with Io, went over to Burke Lake for a round of disc golf. Challenged her to beat double my score. I had my best score (4 under) but was unable to defend my boast. Just made up the distance and time, we spent longer and probably walked farther.

run race (road) 21:06 [4] 5.0 km (4:13 / km)
shoes: Addidas

DCRRC Bluemont 5k. 7pm, Hot and humid around 91F. Mostly on W&OD bike trail. With my current non training regime, no idea how to race this so just went out following two people I used to be able to race and tried not to slow down to much. 1k splits. 4:06, 4:11, (10:31 at 2.5) , 4:30, 4:13, 4:06
Slowed a lot on the middle section where the only hill was located. The people I was following, started dropping me around 1 mile and finished in 19:57 and 20:33.

run (trail, road) 36:42 [2] 4.5 mi (8:09 / mi)
shoes: Avia

Burke Lake, 3pm. 90F but humidity down a bit so not totally unpleasant. Felt pretty good but probably because I have not run in over a week. (8:38), 8:04, 7:57, 7:47, (4:15)

Cool down with the usual 6 holes of disc golf. Seemed to have sprained my right index finger by sleeping on it Sunday, so even though it was feeling better decided not to risk hurting it and played left handed. I have no control on the release and the disc could go anywhere in a 90 degree sector centered on where I was aiming. I would hit trees 6 feet in front of me. Finished 8 over for the 6 holes; a new high. Also got a cut on my left index finger now.
