Walked around some of the trails at Manasass to get a feel for the area. I have to set courses for a meet 12/16. Nothing strenuous as I used it as an excuse to walk with Bev. 1:7500 map with few features might be good for some sprints but tough for advanced courses.

Burke Lake 4:30pm. As close to a long run as I am going to get before the stumble. Instead of the 4.5 mile loop did the 12k course with a little extra to get to the porta potty just past the 1/2 way point. (4:47), 8:52, 9:01, 9:17, (3:29), 9:30, 9:22, 9:32, (5:10). Must have been very humid out since I was drenched.

At Boomerangs. Plenty of angels there so I only danced about 15 minutes. Worked on some code I had brought from work the rest of the time.

Burke Lake 12:30pm. Still feeling sluggish, never seem to get out of 1rst gear. Really need to do some sort of speed work so the pace of all my workouts picks up. (5:28), 9:54, 9:19, 9:36, 9:53.
Cool down with 6 holes of disc golf. Not very motivated there either. A bunch of bad tee shots and then save par with a good 2nd shot. Until I missed the dogleg on 5 again. 3 over.

The sore throat and cough from last week apparently never went completely away. It came back yesterday and bothers me occasionally today.

UNO, Boulder Dash, Nottingcook Forest, Bow NH. Day 2 Red. Not much good to say about todays run. Had hoped to move up since I had run fairly well yesterday with 1 big mistake but instead I dropped in the results after numerous mistakes. Big problems on 1, 6, 9. Smaller problems on 2, 7, 8. Never got a confident feel for the map until the less technical section from 10 on but had already been out so long at that point I was still slow. With 14 sets of splits currently posted on AP, I have the worst split 5 times and the 2nd worst split 4 times.
