Cut the back yard. Again it took twice as long as before the ankle injury. Also raked up the sweet gum leaves again. Couldn't even tell I had raked them the day before. Was going to mulch all the leaves in the non grass sections of the back yard but the mower battery did not last again so still have more work for next week.

20 situps, 40 pushups from knees, 20 back

Time to see how this walking boot works. Grass is long overdue for cutting and the leaves need raking. Raked the front where the sweet gum tree is covering the ground and 1/2 of the back. Then cut the front yard mulching the leaves I did not rake and those that fell after raking. Cutting the front usually takes about 25 minutes and that is the time I recorded. Took twice as long limping around in the boot. So long that the battery in the mower was fading before I finished the last part of the side yard. Planted the rest of my flower bulbs for next spring and did some more edging around the flower beds.
Then off to dinner and a movie with Bev. Had planned to go to high school production of Footloose but they were sold out. We saw Madagasgar 2 instead and picked up tickets for Footloose next Friday.

Looks like I won't be doing any running for while. Got a walking boot today and will be probably be out 8-12 weeks.

20 pushup, 20 situp, 20 back extension. Actually the 20 pushups were 40 pushups from my knees, just counted them as 20.

Note
(injured)

Upgrading the ankle sprain to a break. Went to walk in clinic near work (I walked in) to have it x-rayed, and it is broken. Will go to orthopedist on thursday since I have a big demo at work tomorrow. Have crutches and a temporary cast for now. Probably should not have been hobbling around on it this morning. Had a dentist appointment and took 15 minutes to walk there from parking. After I got back to the car I realized I had left my jacket and had another 30 minutes of hobbling to go back and get it.
Drove to voting around 10am and had no waiting or standing around.
