Brown - Long distance..
Was really up for this at the start and probably went off too hard.. ran the first part well, not real mistakes and running well (same aim as yesterday for the hills!!) some small slip ups once back in the woods towards the end but corrected it ok..
Changeover.. totally threw me. Knew it had so took the first one easy, second one ok, then 3rd one was waay too high up and mistook a ditch for a track (despite the lack of a big lake behind it..) should have gone down to the track then climbed up (2mins) the hill from 21-23 finished me off i think, struggled a bit up there.. totally missed no24 by thinking yay downhill and running off without a clue where i was going (2.30min).. too low on 25 but corrected then fairly quickly.. then ok to the end.
So started off really well, but couldn't keep it together by the end, so need to get a bit stronger so as to not get sloppy and lazy when I get tired by the end.. Good weekend though and lots of good points :)
