Note

Big week.. need a rest :) still feel quite elated from today though, but that's sure to wear off by tomorrow.. maybe.. :)

Running 2:32:03 [3] 20.8 km (7:19 / km) +645m 6:20 / km

Fell run around Edale.. LOVED IT!!!!!!

According to hobbs' log we went to.. Hollins Cross, Mam Tor, Lord's Seat, Brown Knoll, Jacob's Ladder, Grindslow Knoll, Ringing Roger then down the path to the car park again :)

Out with Rach, Anna and Hobbs.. gorgeous sunny day, lots of mud, some lovely views and a generally brillliant route lots of ups and downs :) felt quite good running too but was tiring a bit on the hills by the end!

Will get distance/climb off rach later..

Finished off by going to the pub afterwards, chips have never tasted to good :D in a very happy mood all the way home which was helped even more by some bye bye miss american pie in the car.. :)

Brilliant day :) am thinking i'm going to have to run the edale race next year.. it was gorgeous :)

To Wincobank with the boys for sprint training.. further than expected..!

Orienteering 20:00 [3]

First course.. good in the buildings, not too fast but flowing and not stop start.. then some long legs, fine with those :)

Orienteering 25:00 [2]

Line course.. was ok, stuck to the line quite well..
'downhill course' got very confused with all the little pits and depressions and bearings were well off so was getting to the wrong ones and having to relocate a lot..

Back from uni weston park fastish cause freezing!

easy warm up/down.. bit achey.. and cold..

Orienteering 50:00 [2]

Burbage mines night sprint.. well there was no sprinting. Totally botched up no1 so after about 5mins of not knowing what was going on went back to the start and re-did it, found 1 almost perfectly that time.. going ok to 10 then i have no idea where i ended up, tried relocating and looking for no10 again, didn't work and there were no other lights around so attempted to just go to the finish, in a pretty foul mood by this point..
second loop was far better, slower but way more accurate and actually read what was going on as opposed to trying to run it on a bearing, this loop went pretty much fine appart from a few little misses :)
Deffinitely good training though!

Little run before hills then to goodwin, top of lydgate and down the other side..

Hills x8 roughly 70s to the top.. steep first bit then flat/slightly downhill stretch, really good for running fast after a steep bit.. running with alex on all the reps so pushed harder than usual..

Back to endcliffe with alex very easy pace, legs quite achey :)

Same as usual.. bigger mini circuit though.. shortened one bit cause some big guys wanted the side abs thingy.. next time i'll man up and make them wait! Good though :) legs achey afterwards!

Straight line 4.3k, 150m..
SYO night event.. going well, no major mistakes, some hesitiation but mainly cause i can't run and map read in the dark otherwise i faceplant.. Good stuff though :) Now quite tired but good day!

Intervals endcliffe park.. 3min/1min, 4x30/30, 4x15/15, 4x30/30, 3min

Was knakering, put in more effort than usual i think cause of the short distances, last 3min was a killer! Felt good running though not too lathargic from the weekend which is all good :)

In a great mood then found out during my room/fb rape yday my towels got hidden.. not funny getting out the shower and dripping dry!!
