Clachnaben! First SHR champs race :)

Woke up to snow! But the sun came out for the race itself although it was really quite cold! Started off in the middle and kept getting a bit stuck through the woods and once out onto the hill was sitting at the back of a train where it was either sit there or push through the knee deep heather to get past.. in the end pushed through the heather but i think i should have gone earlier! Surprisingly felt really good up the hills (maybe started too slow) and hit the top feeling good :) ran hard down, could see a couple of girls in front but never caught them, i think gradually catching until we got to the last track through the woods and i wasn't fast enough.

Great route :) super muddy and boggy and went down past my knees in bog a good few times but really enjoyed it :) think i need to start a bit faster though!

Club run across the bridge, stayed in the 6 mile group (plus run there and back) all at easy chatty pace, legs super domsy from yesterday!
