Went along to the Nightmare series race 2.. planned to jog round (just wanted to see everyone again and they're usually good fun anyway) and really kept to running slowly but hr absolutely sky rocketing. Still enjoyed it but wiped out again at the end. Expecting a bit much I think. Will just keep everything to a low intensity and use cycling/gym to get fitness back and just try a few short runs to build it back up. I think this series and the galaxy runs will make for good markers over the winter :)
