Lomonds

Beautiful to start off with - bright sunshine and the perfect amount of snow! Then climbing up West Lomond (from right at the bottom) it was over knee deep, steep uphill, couldn't stay on my feet and using my poles to haul myself up! Absolutely soaked from falling constantly and getting very p*ssed off! Luckily the podcast I was listening to was chatting about the runs you feel like giving up from and the guy said 'sometimes you just have to say suck it up buttercup' - I really liked that and it made me get a grip haha! The rest was not too bad and I started to enjoy it again! Looking forwards to a weekend away from running though next weekend!

Super super snowy sidlaws! Had planned 6 climbs but taking a lot longer due to thick snow so 5 was enough! It looked very winter-wonderlandy but was so so cold by the end as snowing continuously and still pretty windy! Followed by an incredibly exciting afternoon in the pub watching rugby :D
