Orienteering 19:25 [3] ***

Ran a sprint-like middle course that was setup for Louise and Fraser's military group.

Not a very clean race but no huge mistakes either. Ran it really fast - above my abilities for part of the race at least.

Conditioning - core (strength/stretching) 12:00 [3]

Couldn't focus at work today so while one of my samples was cooking I decided to take off for a bike ride. It ended up being a lot longer than I was planning on. It was so nice out there I just never wanted to stop. Pushed myself a fair bit and it felt really good.

I don't know what the distance was but I biked from Carleton all the way out to Orleans and back. On the way back I met up and biked with a really good cyclist from the Ottawa Bike Club who suggested I join up, try some time trials, and gave me lots of biking tips on how to draft properly, etc.

Overall very good ride. I think I might have messed up my knee more than it already was though which I regret. And I don't have ice with me....

not entirely sure what the distance was but google maps shows that it was roughly 50km

Cycling (Carleton - home) 34:00 [1] 10.6 km (3:12 / km)
shoes: GIANT - Defy

took it really easy on the way home today so as not to bother my knee
