Got all the controls at least once. Also did a bit of cool down in just socks to give bare feet running a try. Granted I wasn't out for long but it felt good. Wet and quite cold, but good.

testing out a new pair of shoes - ran 8 kilometers on a treadmill at the Carleton gym. Upped the pace every 800m or so (to "speed = 8.5") and then back down fairly quickly.
Got my heart rate up to 175ish at the max
I now remember why I dislike gyms and treadmills so much
