The plan was to do half an hour easy with the flotation belt and then see how long I could last without it. These plans were derailed when I bumped into a buddy of mine from highschool that I haven't seen in the 6 years (yikes!) since.

I ended up have a great conversation with him will jogging in place at very low intensity (the arms were more of a treading water motion) for 50 minutes. At that point decided I had to excuse myself to get a bit of beltless running in.

Good to catch up though.

Went to the pool at 1:00 only to find out that that was when the free swim ended. I guess I shouldn't make the assumption that the pool is open on the same time on Monday as it was on Saturday...

So hit the bike in the basement after Kids Running Free instead. I'll head back to the pool tomorrow at the right time to get that water running practice in.

Some stretching to end off a good day. Was going to roll as well but did more stretching and almost fell asleep so skipped the foam rolling.
