Went through the full body range this morning followed by foam rolling the legs.

I've started puttingy workouts into my Google calendar the night before to help plan out my day and I'm finding its making a huge difference in how much I'm sticking to that schedule and following through with workouts.

Plan was to meet Eric at the pool at 11:45, do 25 minutes of belted warm-up, 15 minutes wihout the belt and then 20 minutes of cooldown with the belt. I struggled through 10 minutes of beltless running and then called it quits on that. Eric showed up at that point for my 25 minutes of cooldown. Long after I had given up on him.

Missed my train to get to my 1:30 physio so hiked the 3.5 km in the rain. The physio stuck my soaking wet clothes in the dryer! Super impressed.

Meant to do this workout yesterday afternoon/evening but got to doing something else and despite having it in my calendar I was to engrossed in the web design I was working on that it became to late to reasonably do the workout.

So I got out of bad at 7:00 to do some core strength before heading to Green's Creek to see what was going on at Sven Brouwer's 300 student strong school orienteering event.

4x75 seconds plank (front, back, each side), pull ups, leg lowers, situps, leg twists, 2x45 seconds oblique plank.

Warm and cool down with the rest. My workout was really back to the basics because of the 'large amount' of running I did earlier this week:
50m jog, 50m walk,
100m stride,
50m jog, 50m stride,
100m walk
Looping continuously while the others did their intervals.

I only did half the time because my eight knee was tight under the kneecap so I stopped to stretch that out.
It's a long road ahead to that NAOC2014 gold medal.

Part way through my jog stride walk I started focusing on my running technique with my hips and core. Need to spend more workout time focused on that kind of thing. Both physically and technically. This was definitely good though.

Just a light spin to shake out the legs after the running yesterday. My it band was sore going in but felt better after. By heart rate I was probably in zone 0 but that wasn't the point so l'm calling it zone 1.
