20 minutes easy stretching after a 20 minute walk with the dog to warm up the muscles a bit.

Orienteering 40:00 [2] 4.01 km (9:59 / km)

Setting out flags in the dark for the last Thursday training of the season. Traffic was absolutely horrendous getting out there so I only had time to hang the first 5 flags by 6:30 then waiting for another 15 minutes for Mark and Anita to arrive. When the others started the exercise I went out and hung another 2 flags before my headlamp battery died.

Easy interval session half on sand at Britannia Beach and half on paved paths. Fun session but my right knee was bugging me a bit (I think I may have taped my right thigh a bit too tight) and I was feeling beat up still from yesterday's physio.

Note

Went to physio at 11:00 this morning for the first time since NAOCs. I'm at a stage now where I can definitely manage things with regular stretching (for the most part). The problem comes in when I don't stretch regularly :(

Was planning on 20-25 minutes of easy cycling but my knees started to get a little sore coming up to 15 minutes so I called it quits. All of my spidey-sense have been telling me that I'm soon going to regret the lack of stretching I've been doing recently so I decided I'd be better off stretching instead of continuing on the bike.

Did 16 minutes of stretching afterwards. I also did about 5 minutes before hand.

Rest day today though I do plan on getting a good long stretching session in and I'm coaching tonight in Arnprior - last week of programs this week!
