Night competition on "De Sahara". Bad race, make too much mistakes, especially in the end where I make a 90° mistake and lose more than 5'30". Revenge on Sunday? I hope so!

Orienteering race in England (interland). Felt good physically and did a good first part of the race but noticed that my compass was acting weird again, you could not rely on it. In the middle of the course this has cost me a lot of time as my compass was not guiding me in the right direction. After 2/3rd of the race I realized why my compass was acting weird. It's because I ran with gloves of Asics that have a little magnet in it to keep them together when I am not wearing the gloves... I was really pissed when I realized this because I made mistakes because of these magnets as they were influencing the compass and sending me into the wrong direction. But I am also a bit relieved because now I know the reason and I have been running with these gloves all winter long.... that's why my results were poor ;), no I was doubting my compass already for some months but now I know the reason and I can have confidence again in my compass and my direction! Look forward to the next competitions as my shape is ok.

night orienteering. Did a bad technical race, was a long time ago that I run a night race. Started with the wrong intention, wanted to go to fast, not focused enough on not making any mistakes. Good training for coming night competitions, nl flemish championship and belgian championship.

Karrim'hoc 2nd day. Today we won easily wit 17min in front of the second team. Good race, good speed, no cramps. Nice training.

Karrim'hoc with Thomas VDK, good race, however dsq as we forgot one control. Cramps in the end.

Easy running, wanted to do a long training of more than 90 minutes but as my achilles tendon is hurting a lot, I had to reduce the training till 45min. Apparently, can't get rid of the problems with the achilles tendon... very frustrating...
