Running 55:00 [2]

Ram-training: easy running for me as I am feeling my achilles tendon so wasn't able to do intervaltraining. Will do intervals later this week when the achilles hopefully feels better again.

Orienteering race 1:24:30 [5] 15.4 km (5:29 / km) +110m 5:18 / km

Belgian Champs Long distance at Houterenberg, Tessenderlo:

I ended up 7th (sixth Belgian) only 2 minutes from the 3rd spot.
Satisfied with my race, maybe I could have pushed a little bit harder and two minutes faster was possible. First control I lose 45", 10th control I lose 30", 16th 25", 21th 40" and 24th 15". But all in all a good race. Congratulations to Fabi!

Running warm up/down 30:00 [2]

RAM-training: Warming up before the interval training and cooling down afterwards.

Running intervals 25:00 [5]

RAM-training: intervals - 8x300m with 200m jogging in between

I did the first 5 in 49" and the last three slower in 52" as I was feeling my achilles tendon. Was planning to do 10x300m but didn't run the last two to not load the achilles tendon too much. Physical feeling was good.

Orienteering race 47:42 [5]

Belgian championship relay: Our team won the Belgian Championship! The three of us did a good race and as 3rd runner I could finish the job in an exciting race-end against Dries VDK (Ham OK). My performance was good. I made one mistake of around 45"-1' and some smaller ones of 10" but a good race in the end. I am very happy with this 1st place, my first Belgian title! Thanks to my teammates Wouter and Bart!

Running intervals 25:00 [5]

6*500m with 300m easy running in between. Times were: 1'37", 1'36", 1'35", 1'34", 1'32" and 1'30". Could have pushed harder but as it was the first track training since a long time and still a bit tired from last week I did not push all the way. Feeling was good.

Warming up and cooling down before and after the interval training (RAM club training).
