Mass start by night: very well organised by VDK and Hoekx family --> thanks guys. Great effort!

The one-man relay consisted out of two loops. I ran a very good first loop, controlling all the time and arriving as first one in the finish area after this first loop with Lubina, Tom H, Desmond, Ken and Dries vdk closely behind. But at the beginning of the second loop I make three mistakes, 1st control 10-15", 2nd control 1'30", 3rd control 50" --> I lose contact with the group and run the rest of the race alone --> good training, still lots of work to do, concentration and the precision orienteering (map reading until right to the control) must be better.

Morning jog: Easy running in Kessel-Lo. Achilles tendon is hurting a bit after the cross-country race yesterday but I think that with a lot of stretching and exercises it will go away.

Very easy running with Kim in Kessel-Lo through wind and rain. Went to Paul Borgions (podoloog) and got a thorough analysis of the way I walk. Apparently, I run with shoes that are not good for me. I need neutral shoes and now I have anti-pronation --> causes pain in the achilles tendon and lower back. Also, my daily shoes for work are not good. Damn, need to buy other shoes --> €€€. Now I will get soles and get some new running shoes, hopefully this will decrease my complaints!

Long distance run with Kjell De Hondt and Sanne Torfs in Heverleebos and Meerdaalwoud. Took as much climbs as possible. Legs were feeling tired and stomach was irritating which made it a long and tough run.

Easy warm up, not to much running. Heavy legs.

Football match with SK De Zoenk (we are first) against Kapelleke Langdorp (last). We won 10-0. After the long distance run in the morning I asked not to play the whole match as I was already very tired.

Cross-country race in Bonheiden. Not satisfied with my race, not a good feeling during the race, finished it anyway but as it was the first race of the season, very strong participants and a very fast track, I look forward to become better. Good training anyway. After the race my achilles tendons (both legs) were really painful again...
Kim won the race in the womens field --> very strong performance!
