Pram walk (Beach) 45:00 [1]
(sick)

Walk with Sus & E and Liz, E & K from Oaklands Road to the beach and back. I also did a bit of walking up and down the beach with the pram in a relatively fruitless effort to get Paddy to have a good nap. Nice company!

Unfortunately I'm still a little under the weather and Paddy seems to be getting sicker again.

Orienteering (Pewsey Vale) 1:05:00 [3] *** 4.0 km (16:15 / km) +175m 13:20 / km
spiked:6/11c (sick)

Still feeling sick today, and realised as soon as I started my course that I probably shouldn't be doing anything. But it was a nice day, and one grandparent had come all the way to the Barossa to mind Paddy so I could do a course, so I decided to finish it, even if it meant walking much of the way. I find it hard to do anything other than walk in the bush on this map anyway, unless I find little animal tracks to run along, so it probably only made a 5-10min difference to the time I might have taken anyway. I was slow through the first few controls, just not getting into the map or the general spirit of orienteering, but cheered up after this, especially as the last 6 controls or so after the 2 long legs were actually kinda moderate in nature so I didn't need to think too much. :)

(sick)

Still very sick and not feeling up to doing much more than walking to the fruit and veg shop and back carrying Paddy yesterday and today. Not sure if Paddy and I keep passing the germs between us (if that's even possible), or if I was just really run down and didn't realise it.
