Well what a day, It started off with me leaving my Garmin at home luckily I realised this as I approached the freeway so not so much of a drama... but this then threw me into the I'm late mode... which when I got there in plenty of time wasn't the case! As I recalled and as it turned out the first loop (40km) was the hilliest and the toughest but I got through that in 2 hours 20 minutes
with a quick refill of water and Shotz Tabs off I went for the second loop (60km) not as hilly just long and drawn out with a huge 10+km Bitumen sectioninto the wind early on which went on for ages!! I know I hear you say Peddal faster to get it over and done with quicker...easier said than done at that stage of the game!! we then decended on Turner Hill..... Awesome if you were fresh and could really enjoy it otherwise it was mentally tough....
I took three off's here one Left one Right and one Major Jight which left me seeing stars due to me head butting a rock on the ground as I fell thank god for the helmet I say...
After that their wasnt too much to write home about other than the usual Silly Brain Fade moments not getting the front wheel in the right position and sliding out luckilly for me non ended in tears... again was a great day weather was perfect and the track was even better look forward to next year I think!!!!

Well what a Morning,
My Commute was nothing to write home about as I was looking forward to My Group Office Ride at 7.00am so I parked the bike in the usual spot and went up to my desk.
I came down to the basement at 6.45 to ride over to the meet point (Gym Equipment South Perth foreshore) when as I was standing at my locker another commuter rode past me and into the Bike Cage with that I heard a Pshhhhhhhhhhhhhh immediately thought that it was strange for Said Commuter to be letting his tyres Down!! Maybe it was to prevent someone riding off with his pride and joy Huffy!!
I went into the Cage to grab the ever reliable Cervelo only to find that the Pshhhhhhhhhhhhhh was in fact my Rear tyre!! Bugger.
Well no dramas I had plenty of time to replace it calmly and collectedly!
Out cant Replacement tube 1… on goes RT1 not really checking that the tyre and tube were seated properly (My Bad) and proceeding to inflate with my hand pump slightly to check that I hadn’t Pinched it…. All clear or so I thought! I banged a C02 charge on the tyre and juuuust as it got to pressure BANG!! WTF the tube went with such force that it blew the tyre off the rim Fark.
By this time it was 6.50am getting a little tight on time so out comes RT2 on goes RT2 checking the bead During and After the Install all fine! Again hand pump to get some air in the tube checked again all good! Carefully filled the tube with more C02 all good it stayed up… I was a happy camper once again… so whilst I was tidying up all my crap in the bike cage and putting it all back into my locker BANG!! At this point I reached for the mobile….

This mornings group just wasn’t meant to be…

On the Commute home side of things I hammered it due to no morning ride which I was so looking forward to…
Dragged a Mountain Biker along the coast at a blistering pace of 43.6kmph from City Beach to Obb City until he dropped off It was Great!
