steady run to ease off soreness, did not work that well

Orienteering race 1:11:00 [4]

Longer race in some fast terrain and some rockier and greener bits. Quite intense with 43 controls and 3 sets of butterflies.

Afternoon session making the most of the sunshine, before I go back. Surprisingly managed quite a decent heart rate and minimized errors.

Orienteering race 32:00 [4] 7.1 km (4:30 / km)

Quite a fast area, 7.1k won in 28 minutes. 29 controls and quite a few rocks slowed it down a bit...

Ran quite clean - not quite pressing enough at the start but got some encouragement and improved a bit.

WRE, 91' in zone 4 and 6' in zone 5 according to garmin - a pretty tough day. Kept errors small but quite a long way off the speed of the top guys

POM day 1 - pretty easy course; A couple of errors I could have avoided but nice to be running snow-free!
