Orienteering 1:53:29 [3] 14.35 km (7:54 / km) +729m 6:18 / km

Irish TT Long. Wonderful day. First hot day in a while combined with a physical course made for a tough run. I was fully gas by the end.

Didn't place well but overall not displeased with the result. I was in the mix (even leading at #9/10!) until #12 where an unmapped trail and extra cup depressions made almost everyone lose major time. Unfortunately though, I didn't recover particularly well. I didn't trust the map anymore and made mistakes on #13 and #14 as well to put myself well out of the running. So something to work on there. But pleased with the first part and relatively pleased with everything after #15

Too tired Thursday and Friday. Head ache, chest sore, too tired to work properly, just lay on the coach all afternoon. So went to get a covid test which came back negative on Saturday. Maybe just not enough sleep? Had to skip my Friday run :(

Planned to do the 40 min video I was doing a while back but had to stop after 25 minutes when my vision started going blurry and I got a catch in my throat and couldn't stop coughing :s Probably won't do strength / high intensity stuff before breakfast anymore...

O training at Carriage na Seabhac with Conor. Beauty evening. Made some mistakes early in the thick green but found a good flow out on the boulder fields. The opposite I would expect based on my usual strengths/weaknesses.
