Long run - 24k with John and rest on my own. Lakeshore Road and through campgrounds, logging roads, beside Sproat River to Hector Road and back (I ran back to cabin with 8k on hwy).

Felt pretty slow - legs tired from yesterday and left hip not 100%

Saturday Aug 4, 2012 #

Mountain biked from cabin to the Teodoro trails. Discovered that they were more like steep hiking trails so did hike-a-bike for a large portion of the up. Then downhill on some poor to good logging roads.

Left hip bothering me.

Supposed to be "marathon pace" but I had Mikka therefore stopped frequently.

Monday Jul 30, 2012 #

Dog walk. Followed by a coyote who tried to lure Mikka to it's partner. Not good.

Probably shouldn't have run on tired legs on such a hot day. Felt great for the first 18k but then felt really tired, overheated and dehydrated. HR says zone 2 but it felt much harder. Had to take several walking breaks in the last half hour.
