Felt weak as a kitten! I had heard that you are stronger at night than in the morning and this was proof to me. Didn't do my last set of anything and the middle set felt as hard as the last one usually does!
I wanted to take it easy anyway cos of today's downwind but I couldn't lift the usual amount anyway. I hope my efforts still count as 'taking it easy'. Will report later.
Chin ups didn't even try. . . .

First downwind with the new pads in the boat, did Freo to City with Glen, thanks to Danger for dropping us off and eliminating the need for the car shuffle.
Paddled out as per usual and then turned and then squirmed for 500m trying to get comfy in the seat, followed as one might expect by a squirming-related swim. Oh well I'm in, may as well pee.
Learned the lesson: bloody well sit STILL.
The swell was very W so as long as I was happy to get shot to the shore all was right with the world but when I was parallel not much worth catching. After Swannie things got bigger including my smile. I caught a few waves for several 100m and generally bounced around getting a feel for what these pads could do.
Came in at City with a very unexpected textbook landing (I was due this after the previous bash on the shoulder) but my legs were so sore I couldn't stand up! The sound of an approaching wave caused some panic so I pushed on something and slowly ratcheted myself up. Boat still leaks and was quite heavy but liftable.
Glen came in after me and fell off, his ski almost took out a small child who was much more brave when we had the loose ski safely on the beach - 'ha ha canoe you can't get me!'
1:15 to City included a brief stop to make sure Glen hadn't become shark bait, and it did take some time to pee . . . so maybe 1:12 to City?? I'd like to get that down to consistently under 1:10 before the end of the season . . . . .
