Freo to City in Karen's Mentor. Not sure of overall time cos I didn't have my HRM chest strap so I didn't start the timer. 1:06 to City tho, I'm certainly consistent! One swim as a result of a squirm trying to adjust to the seat pads which are much different than mine!

Freo to City with Dave, 20 knot average winds gusting to 30, waves off Cott 1.5m. This is the biggest stuff I've been out in and I had moments of fear!

I should have known it would be tough when I put the boat in and realised that Dean had moved my foot plate when he was looking for my leak and hadn't moved it back. Knees up at my chin and no rudder! I wrestled the boat back on shore and in strong winds managed to adjust everything well enough that I could turn right, but left . . . not so much.

I did Freo to City in a record 1 hour despite a swim that took a while to recover from - boat got away from me and I was afraid the leg leash would break!

On the way in at City I was dumped when I realised that I hadn't unclipped my leg leash and in the process of trying to, out I went. Dave said it was very spectacular.

The bad news - I have broken Wobbles. There is a foot-long crack down the seam, which travels down another 2-3" and then continues along another 4". I can see what the boat is made of!! Hopefully Walter can fix it without TOOOO much of a lecture about how crap Mentors are . . . .

City Beach jog again - slower today cos big waves came thru and pushed me off the nice hard sand on to the squishy quicksand stuff. Had to walk in the first bit (groyne to lump of concrete) and two walks on the way back. 14:03 to the lump of concrete.

Skipped legs cos they are sore from 2 days of beach running. Three sets chinups, got THREE on my first set but barely made 2 on the last.

City Beach jog - made it all the way to the lump of concrete at a jog, 12:35, then 2min rest and back with two walks when HR got over 160. Let it drop to 130 and then jogged again. Felt pretty good but it's humid so I'm soaked!
