Unspecified (getting shot at) 30:00 [3]

Running around the house with Raf and Eran shooting me with Nerf guns. I eventually 'procured' the Nerf automatic weapon with laser sighting (yes!!) but I did not procure instructions on loading the bullets. So I resorted to collecting all the bullets I could find, stuffing them in my pockets, and then hurling them at the boys.

This is just as funny when you're four years old as when you're some number much bigger than four years old.

paddle (windy river) 25:00 [3] 2.5 km (10:00 / km)

FIRST PADDLE! Amazingly I didn't wobble, and the sternum held up just fine. My chest muscles struggled, especially the weird one that runs up into my neck on the left hand side (what IS that???). But that's absolutely fine, the sternum was the concern, especially as I'm not really supposed to paddle for another two weeks. :-)

jog/walk 40:00 [3] 3.0 km (13:20 / km)

The usual walk to and from work, then I headed off to Port Beach to watch Raf paddle and drink beer (not at the same time, and I was going to drink beer too). When I got there he was already out and was farther north than I expected, so I toddled off down the beach after him.

As I started I noticed that he was doing capsize drills, next thing I realised he was no longer attached to the ski, which was continuing it's journey northwards.

At this point I started running but Raf got to the ski and got it up on the beach before I got there. Turns out it wasn't a capsize drill!

We carried the ski back up the beach, passing 5m from a wedding (we'll be in the video). And the wedding people had booked out the entire ocean side of Salt so we couldn't get beer and watch the sunset! I hope we ruined their wedding video.

jog/walk 30:00 [3] 2.0 km (15:00 / km)

jog/walk 25:56 [3] 3.0 km (8:39 / km)

1km walk along the bike path, then 100m jog - 100m walk for another km, then last km walk. Jogging didn't feel so good!

jog/walk 30:00 [3] 2.0 km (15:00 / km)

Even more narrowly avoided a drenching - I had t run about 10m to a canopy as the heavens opened up. In typical Perth fashion the rain had stopped by the time I got to the bottom of Rokeby.

yoga (DIY) 40:00 [3]
(injured)

Candes and incense and my fave bits from Happy Hips! I still have the annoying sore neck muscle, exactly the same as op #1, and apparently it's going to take as long as it did the first time to go away.

I can't remember how long that was but I do remember it taking bloody ages.

jog/walk 30:00 [3] 2.0 km (15:00 / km)

Timed this well - as soon as I got home it started pouring, but I only got a teensy bit of drizzle. Walking up the hill felt fine this morning.

TRX suspension (and 5kg weight stuff) 20:00 [3]
(injured)

I'm really happy with how the sternum is healing so I decided it's time to try to damage it. I mean, do some exercise with non-sternally-associated muscles.

TRX hammies, rows, deltoid flys, planks, and crunches. I have become weak.

And some endurance stuff (i.e. 20 reps) with my 5kg weight plate. My muscles have that pleasant warm feeling of having done something. Lovely!
