And one chin up only about an inch short. The other wide arm attempts were well short. First of the narrow grips was spot on tho :-)

BIG swell today! It took me a while to get comfortable before I really started going after waves. At one point seven monsters in a row rolled through, too big for me to feel like I wanted to catch them. I thought they were never going to stop.

1st of Ash's Thursday training sessions, and probably my last. Too many people and too many of them with a disturbing inability to control their boats.

One guy even told me to 'go forward, go forward' as I was stationary and he paddled towards me! He t-boned me and there was a crunch but I can't see any damage. However the same guy hit Raf and put a 6" split in the seam of his ski. No 'sorry' on either occasion.

I did learn that I work hard at the wrong times, I need to wait until I feel the back of the boat pick up. Something to work on - not so easy when you're in messy W winds and trying not to have a collision with one of the other 18 people out there.

Finished the workshop at 2pm and then procrastinated heading home until about 4:30. Still flippin' hot! Forgot to start the GPS until I was 300m from where I started.
