Same ride as last week, but with the GPS this time. I detest Mt Gunjin and would happily pay my share for the installation of a chair lift. Or maybe the installation of better leg muscles would work also.

Going downhill makes up for having to climb up - however NO WAY am I capable of an 8-day MTB tour in the Alps sans chair lifts! I don't care how nice the scenery is!

This didn't feel quite as good as last week but I was ahead of last week's time until I hit a slight head wind on the last week's2km and had to throw in a walk break.

Happy though, I think doing intervals has taught my brain what my body is capable of and allows me to keep going when previously I would have walked.

Reduced number of sets of bridgy-things and added the weird resistance band sideways stepping thing as per instructions of Man Mountain. My apartment is a bit small for this, but it looks too ridiculous to do outside.

He also suggested dry needling, which I politely declined until I do some googling about it . . . .

Warm up then a solid 1km at 5:57. Only 3 x 500m today as I had forgotten about yesterday's hot spot on my foot and after two intervals it was quite painful.

Intervals 5:09, 5:25, 4:58 pace (1 & 3 slightly downhill).

Tried to run a bit but it was too ouchy , I was really cold when I got home!
