New instructor tonight, very sweet and soft spoken and worked us HARD. I managed top power of 309 watts, a PB. :-)

I would have bailed on this due to it being freezing cold, but Karl was waiting for me so I went. And it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought, although my feet froze on contact with the water but then I didn't notice them the rest of the time.

Fingers frozen by about halfway which meant I didn't notice the blister that formed and then got shredded.

Another PB for the season ('season' being a loose term meaning 'when I got back in the boat after being a woose all winter') and only :28/km to drop until I'm paddling respectably. Yeh, good luck to me.
