The usual circuit for me and Kris, but we avoided Highway to Dell due to all the mud and not wanting to damage the trail.

My confidence exceeded my skills today and I went down like a sack of potatoes at 944m in, scraping my knee rather well (and apparently leaving my mojo on the ground). After some rudimentary first aid, and consideration of whether PowerAde would be good for cleaning dirt out of a wound, we continued on - for 400m when Kris' back seized up.

That resulted in another 15 minutes of stopping while she stretched and I massaged her (would have looked rather dodgy to people passing, with Kris face down on a tree and me leaning on her back). She bailed at the Dell and I continued as planned, up Gunjin and home via Muffin Tops and Slippery When Dry, which it was.

Four hours later and my knee is still bleeding.
