bike ride (MR Pines) 1:15:00 [3]
shoes: Anthem X 29er

Horrors, more hills. We followed some of the locals on the C2C bits which seemed to involve a LOT of fire trail uphills, a bit of lovely swooping downhill trail, and then uphill trail. I'm convinced I rode more up than down even though I started and finished in the same place.

paddle (Meelup Bay cruise) 1:00:00 [3] 5.0 km (12:00 / km)
shoes: Swordfish

I turned off the GPS after 1km cos the wind annoyingly switched directions and picked up so I decided just to paddle aimlessly around looking at rocks and staring at the ocean bottom which was, as always in Geo Bay, stunning.

bike ride (Meelup trails) 1:15:00 [3]
shoes: Anthem X 29er

To be updated when I feel like checking my GPS. Trails were conveniently marked for Cape to Cape so we did not get lost.

paddle (Geographe Bay) 1:12:00 [3]
shoes: Swordfish

Same with needing to check the GPS but it's very far away from my glass of wine. I was going to have a nap but the new boy has done a good job of stomping on my heart so I needed some ocean time.

Absolutely gorgeous out there with a fair bit of time just spent looking many metres down through crystal clear water at a beautiful sandy ocean floor. Total bliss. If I was religious, Geographe Bay would be my god.

learning to run 13:11 [3] 2.01 km (6:34 / km)

Stupid water baby has re-appeared and makes breathing a struggle, managed 464m before I hd to stop and pretend I had to stretch something . . . .

walk (looking for whales) 30:00 [3] 3.0 km (10:00 / km)

The whale trail at Cape Nat with the water baby making me feel like a whale. There were quite a few out there but they were quite far out and not feeling paricularly athletic today so just lots of glimpses of whale backs.

climbing (Dunsi gym) 1:00:00 [3]

paddle (Geographe Bay) 1:12:34 [3] 10.46 km (6:56 / km)
shoes: Swordfish

Meelup - Bunkers - Meelup flying along about 5:45/km on the way to Meelup but then hammered by another f*&^ing headwind on the way back.

Headwinds in Geographe Bay are slightly less annoying than those on the Swan River.

I heard whales as I approached Bunkers, big booming sounds which I'm assuming were whales (cos I'd so like it if it was).

Now I'm drinking Bootleg wheat beer and looking forward to no crows, rubbish trucks, or Transperth busses idling outside my house tomorrow. And mountain biking. :-)
