paddle (river) 1:05:27 [3] 10.01 km (6:32 / km)
weight:57.6kg shoes: Swordfish

Incredibly weary after last night's TRX workout. I wanted to bail at the 1km point but then decided there was probably very good training value in continuing.

Happy to make it a 10km paddle instead of 12-14km which I had wanted to do but Karl didn't as his back still hurts.

And I ate ALL my eggs on toast after!!

learning to run (sinky sand beach) 17:35 [3] 2.0 km (8:48 / km)

About 300m of hardpacked sand and the rest soft squishy stuff. Oh and 15kt wind. I have NO idea what I was thinking.

learning to run (bike path) 13:54 [3] 2.2 km (6:19 / km)

GPS won't speak to satellites when it's cloudy so I just told it that yes indeed I was inside and ran anyway. Distance maybe a bit less than what I actually covered.

paddle (T2 sprints) 58:32 [3] 9.34 km (6:16 / km)
ahr:132 max:153 shoes: Swordfish

The usual but with T2. The rest of my grid disappeared at some point during the really long sprint, leaving me at the back with T2 next to me encouraging me - 'once we get past the bridge we're going to go hard' (wtf do you think I'm doing??) - 'find another gear, come on, you've got it'.

I think the Bennett guys must have polished my paddle shaft cos during the 20-stroke efforts my hands were sliding all over the place. So I skipped the return journey 20-stroke efforts and just had a solid 1.2km cool down instead.
