Kalaupapa lookout trail - beautiful trail but rather rough, slow due to deadfall in some spots....cliffs are amazing.

Molokai, Hawaii! ran the trail along the ocean, only a short part on the beach but still soft dirt. got a little sunburnt since I didn't wear a shirt.

Hawaii bound! Via Atlanta...from Toronto...woo-hoo! Love being in transit.

Tapering for Oceania and WMOC...doesn't get any better than this!

Got the last of the chipping done and things spiffed up, ready for the daffs and tulips. Crocuses are few and far between, victims of the 7 chipmunks who got to them before I managed to get them under control...may they Rest In Peace in the swamp. Mums are slow to show themselves but the day lilies are making their presence know - even the ones that sat in a bucket in the shed over the winter. I replanted them along the swamp in hopes that they won't get too overrun by the swamp growth. Lots of evidence that the mint will again make a comeback as well as the garlic and irises. Trimmed the elderberries, showing new growth so they should recover from the last storm. Other trees weathered the wind storm, buds look good although it will be a few weeks before any leaves appear....all is well on the homestead!

Durand West - checking some of the permanent markers, quite a few trees down but all are ok except one that now has rootstock for a coltrol description instead of spur.
